Hugh Jackman as ‘Wolverine‘ is finally going to make a comeback in the MCU‘s movie “Deadpool 3” after five years. We saw Hugh Jackman as Wolverine back in 2017 in “LOGAN“.
Yes, you heard that right one of the most popular Marvel Comics character Wolverine is finally coming back to Marvel Studios. Ryan Reynolds took the twitter to storm when he announced yesterday that Hugh Jackman as X-Men character Wolverine is finally confirmed in the upcoming Deadpool franchise.
“Hello everyone, it really makes me sad that I missed this year’s D23 Expo, but I’m really excited to let you all know that we have been working really hard from a very long time on our next movie,” Ryan said this in his recent video referring to the Disney’s event D23 Expo which was held in the first week of September.
“I I always had this thing in my mind that this time we need to make it something bigger and spectacular which you haven’t experienced in earlier Deadpool movies. So I took some time off and did a deep analysis on Deadpool as a character and different shades of characters. And when it came to bring back Hugh as Wolverine, we really had to do a soul research in order to make his comeback a grand celebration in the MCU. In order to do that we must stay honest to the character, find new impulse, more depth into the character so that it turns out to be a unique experience for the viewers.”

“It was a great challenge that pushed me to look more deep into it. And frankly speaking I don’t have much as of now. But we surely have a idea”, Ryan further added ” Hello Hugh, wanna be as Wolverine again?” Reynolds asked Hugh as he approached in the scene.
Hugh replied “Yeah, sure would love to”. And the video rolled the end credits with “I Will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston with funny subtitles saying “I will always Love Hugh” : and then finally the trailer came “Coming Hugh“. Wolverine appeared with his adamantium claws and in the end Deadpool logo featured.
Shawn Levy has now officially joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe and will be directing the upcoming “Deadpool 3”, we already know Shawn for presenting his movies in a funny and witty manner like “The Adam Project“, “Free Guy“, “Date Night” and “Internship“. He had already worked with Ryan in past for the movie “Free Guy”. He’ll also be seen directing other Marvel movies as according to purchase of 20th Century Fox by Disney.

X-Men fans last witnessed Hugh Jackman as Wolverine back in 2017 standalone movie “Logan“. It is considered as one of best superhero movies of all time as it received huge positive response from the critics for its natural way of portraying a superhero, the movie’s director James Mangold felt overwhelmed by the response from fans and critics.
The movie ended on a tragic note as Wolverine died in the end, and Jackman interestingly quoted that his character as Logan has finally came to an end. So, now as Wolverine is officially coming back to MCU through ‘Deadpool 3’ we are really not sure how the makers will pul this off. It will be one hell of a ride to watch Ryan Reynolds as ” Deadpool” and Hugh Jackman as “Wolverine” sharing the same screen since we last saw them together in X-Men Originals released in 2009. But for that the fans must have to be patient as “Deadpool 3” is announced to be released in big screens on 6th September 2024.
